LEADING YOUR CHILD TO JESUS

A-Mother Daughter Praying.jpeg

Leading your child to except Jesus as their Savior is the most important thing that you can do! So let's start praying about it today.

A Prayer for your Child's Salvation

Sweet Jesus,

You are the First Fruits. You give us a new kind of life. If we choose to trust and believe in You, we will live forever with You in Heaven. You have conquered death and I love You, Lord. You are my strength. You are my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer; in You I take refuge, for You are my Shield and the Horn of my Salvation. You, Jesus, are my Stronghold.

Lord, I pray that my child will give his or her life to You at an early age and never fall away from You. For Your Word says that it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Let my child's heart believe in You today, Jesus, even before he or she is born. And when my baby is ready to speak, let my child proclaim Your Holy Name and profess his or her faith in You. Please, save my baby from eternal darkness.

I believe in the power of intercessory prayer and that You, God, have already put a mark on my child’s forehead. Your Name is on my baby even now as he or she is being created in my womb and I believe that You have great plans for him or her. I pray that my baby will turn to You in every situation. I want to spend eternity with my child in Heaven worshiping You, My Savior.

Thank you that You loved us enough to die on the cross and give us this everlasting opportunity. You are Holy, Lord Jesus, and I thank You for this amazing gift.

I bow down before Your cross of salvation and I humbly pray this in Your Precious Name.

Amen.

Salvation Verses

ACT. 2:21

And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

EXD. 15:2

The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

As parents, we are called to lead our children to Christ. If your son or daughter is old enough to understand, I encourage you to talk about inviting Jesus to live in his or her heart today.

With His free gift of salvation, we can be assured of spending Heaven forever with our son or daughter.

If your child is ready to ask Jesus into his or her heart, you can lead them in this prayer below:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I know that I sin and I have done things that do not please You. I am sorry and I repent of my sins. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that You died on the cross to save me.  Jesus, please take control of my life. I give it to You. Lead me at home, at school and wherever I go. Please help me to live everyday in a way that pleases You.

I love You, God, and I thank You that You have adopted me into your Kingdom.

In Jesus' Name I Pray,

Amen.
